Oh hey! Look what I found when I was reorganizing my art catalog. Here’s Sparkly Vampires, my slightly sick, utterly embarrassing 24-hour comic from ‘09 (or ‘10? Guess who’s got two thumbs and is bad at remembering dates and times). It was the height of the Twilight craze, and I was sleep-deprived and hopped up on energy drinks and pizza.
Fun facts:
~All of Mal’s dialogue when he and Mari are alone together is directly plagiarized from the actual Twilight books. Outrageous flavor!
~I had actually forgotten how to draw in an anime style by this point and had to look up, like, shoddy DeviantArt tutorials to jog my memory. Looking back at these pages, I actually think I could have taken it way farther. Ah well!
